The course aims to promote professional leadership and the empowerment of women working in traditional sectors
 
‘Women in Power’ wants to facilitate the participation and access to education through a free online training available in several languages, giving women the opportunity to acquire skills and competencies that will improve their sectoral and managerial skills, thus promoting gender equality and the advancement of women in the European society.

INNOVATIVE TRAINING PATH
 
‘Women in Power’ training will support women to acquire news competences, but also to reflect on their current skillfulness by making them aware of the multitude of skills that they have gained already in their chosen sector and through life experiences. It will aim to improve their confidence, self-belief, and motivation and therefore make managerial and executive roles more accessible to them.

AMUEBLA PRESENTS THE 'WOMEN IN POWER' PROJECT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MURCIA

On October 29th at 10:00h, the Assembly Hall of the Convalescence Building in Murcia (Spain) hosted the final presentation event of the Erasmus+ ' Women in Power' project, in which three round tables were held to discuss gender equality, female leadership and barriers to women's career advancement.

INOVA HOSTS A LEADERSHIP SKILLS WORKSHOP IN SHEFFIELD

On October 23rd, Inova Consultancy delivered a multiplier event in Sheffield (United Kingdom) as part of the Women in Power project. This event aimed to present the work of the project so far. Ideas and thoughts on women working in traditional sectors were discussed along with the barriers and challenges they face in finding promotional opportunities in their chosen careers.

RTxC HOSTS A DISSEMINATION EVENT IN BUCHAREST
 
'Women in Power' Dissemination Activities
 
The event was organised on October 25th as one of the parallel sessions of the TexTeh IX – Advanced Textiles for a Better World conference. This was a perfect opportunity to present the project as this is an international event that is important both for the research and for the industrial textile community and it brings together all the parties involved in the industry, from manufacturers to R&D entities, to education providers and to policy makers.

WOMEN IN TRADITIONAL SECTORS EVENT HOSTED BY CENFIM
 
'Women in Power' Dissemination Activities
 
On October 9th, CENFIM hosted an event was to present and make available to target users the three intellectual outputs developed during the 'Women in Power' project to help in solving gender inequalities in the European society through education. The workshop was targeted to end users as well as professionals and women associations, and had 28 attendees in total, mostly businesswomen and academics.

The event, held on October 7th, was organized to showcase and transmit the results of the Women in Power (WIP) project. It disseminated the results with other organizations, working women and education policy makers on the opportunities that the WIP provides through the e-learning platform, one of the key outcomes of the project.
